Staffield Farm is a family run farm that is based in the idyllic surroundings of the Lake District. Surrounded by lush, green rolling hills that are reminiscent of those we have all sung about in the anthem Jerusalem; we at Kings Biltong believe there is no better place to raise cattle.

The Hetherington Family who run Staffield Farm have farmed in the Staffield hamlet and surrounding area since 1958. With over 50 years experience of farming in the area they have developed numerous techniques which ensure they produce nothing but the finest beef.

Staffield Farms beef comes from their top quality cattle herd that consists specifically of Limousin and Charolais cattle. These two breeds are known across the world  for producing very lean  and tender beef. This cattle herd has access to excellent green pastures with winter feed that is produced from the farms very own home-grown barley, hay, silage and turnips. At Staffield farm they believe this natural home grown diet is a key factor in producing top quality cattle that don't just look fantastic but taste fantastic too!

Staffield Farms cattle is not only raised at the farm but finished their too. Finishing their cattle at the farm helps reduce the stress levels of their cattle and is a demonstration of the attentive and ethical approach that the Hetherington family have taken to farming.
