Mark Simpson-Daniel

Company Director Mark Simpson-Daniel was born on the 11.02.1985 in Stockton-on-Tees. He also attended Sedbergh School where he looked to learn the art of rugby. During Marks time at Sedbergh he enjoyed much success on the rugby pitch, representing England under 16's and 18's. He upon leaving Sedbergh signed a full time professional contract with Sale Sharks during which time Mark Represented England again in the under 19's World Cup in South Africa. However shortly after this he broke his ankle and left Sale choosing to sign for Newbury rugby club and return to university where he studied video production.

After graduating Mark got a job with a marketing company before deciding against office life and opting to travel to Rhode Island in the USA. Here he player coached a developing rugby club for a number of seasons before returning to the UK and starting Kings Biltong with brothers Charlie and James. Like Charlie and James Mark had to suffer the protein bar filled diet of the professional rugby player and this ultimately helped in the conception of Kings Biltong.

However upon returning to the Rhode Island on a holiday he met his soon to be fiance Claire. Shortly after returning to the UK Mark decided he was going to propose to Claire and start a life with her in the USA. Mark and Claire are now living happily in Newport Rhode Island with Mark at the head of Kings Biltongs USA branch!
