Captaining Gloucester at Middlesex 7's

Charlie meeting Sir Richard Branson at is Galactic Headquarters after being invited on behalf of Kings Biltong to attend this years Commonwealth Day in Westminster Abbey.

Company Director Charlie was born on the 3.10.1989 in Stockton-on-Tees. Being born into a family with a love for rugby that bordered on fascism he was sent to the elite rugby boarding school Sedbergh aged 10. After a successful rugby career with Sedbergh School which included like James the captaining of his side to win the national school sevens title, he signed a contract with premiership rugby side Gloucester.

Shortly after signing with Gloucester he was selected to represent England at Sevens making his debut against New Zealand at the tender age of 19. The highlight of his career was representing England in the 2009 Dubai Sevens World Cup against the mighty rugby nation of Turkey.

Shortly after this Charlie sustained a serious shoulder injury followed by a string of further injuries which ultimately led to his decision upon leaving Gloucester to no longer pursue rugby as a career. However he believes his time spent in rugby was pivotal in helping him recognise the potential of Biltong in the health industry.

Upon leaving Gloucester Charlie started Kings Biltong and returned to education. While working and developing Kings Biltong Charlie is also studying Business Management at the University of York.
